Sequoia News

June 1st 2012

Dear Sequoia Parents: Thank you so much for all your support before and during the Kidspace Auction. We had a lot of fun putting our project together this year.
Just a few reminders. We need more family photos. You may just bring them in loose and we'll put them together for you. They are a wonderful tool for conversation with your child and it gives them familiar faces to name.Pets are always fun to include.
As the sun is out more and more, please bring in hats and cooler clothing.Remember that we do apply sunscreen in the afternoon. Should you want it applied in the morning, please do so at home before bringing your child to Kidspace.
Here is something to begin to think about. Some of you already have.Plastic bags are about to be banned in Seattle so we need to have a safe and sanitary way to wrap up all your child's "go home" clothing, dirty wraps included. This may mean having several zip waterproof cloth bags here a day.
In the mean time, we are enjoying water play, digging in the sand, playing with oatmeal and cornmeal and getting pretty messy.Several of our Babies are about to crawl and the older group is using more and more words in order to express themselves.
                                                                Enjoy your weekend
